Kindergarten
While Kindergarten is not compulsory, almost all parents enrol their child to get the best start to learning at school. In most cases your child will be offered a place at your local public school. However, if the number of Kindergarten applications exceed the number of places available, you may be referred to a nearby Kindergarten that have places available.
The Kindergarten year is an important one for all concerned. It is the first experience your child has of school life and a time for your child to develop and reinforce their own identity, learn important early numeracy, literacy and social skills that will help them through school. It is often your child’s first contact in a social setting without parental support and we will strive to make this a positive experience for you and your child.
KINDERGARTEN 2027 ENROLMENTS OPEN AT 9.30AM ON TUESDAY, 28th April 2026.
Please visit our administration office on or after the above date to receive your enrolment pack for 2027.
In Western Australia, children can start their education in Kindergarten, however compulsory schooling starts the following year in Pre-primary.
You can apply to enrol your children in school for Kindergarten in 2026 if they are:
- Born between 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023
- Have an up to date Australian Immunisation Record (AIR) Statement
- You reside inside our local intake area
To reserve a position for 2027, you will need to meet the above criteria and places are held on a first come, first serve basis.
Applications for Kindy 2027 will close on the 25 July 2026. We will only review all applications after this date.
Unfortunately we do not offer school tours, we do however have a "Come and Play session" for the students accepted into Kindergarten 2027, this occurs later in the year.
