FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Congratulations to Mrs Protzman, Mr McIntyre, Mr Matrozis and Ms Makanza for overseeing an outstanding Year Six Graduation Ceremony conducted this morning. It was very entertaining creating a very memorable occasion for our Year Six students. On behalf of the school community I would like to wish all of these students the very best for high school and hope they leave our school with fond memories and a sense of pride in their achievements.

I would also like to acknowledge the parents of these students who no longer have a child attending Wellard Primary School. Your contribution has been invaluable to our school and on behalf of the school community I would like to thank all of you for your commitment and dedication in our third year as Wellard Primary School.

BOOKLISTS 2021

Booklists for 2021 were distributed on Friday 20^th November via email and connect. Parents wanting to pick up their Booklist items from school (Friday 29^th January 12.30pm – 1.30pm) should have returned their order to Wellard PS by Tuesday 8^th December. Parents wanting their booklist items sent to their home/business address (small delivery fee) need to order online by Friday 18^th December. Please see the information sent home for more details about the ordering process.

SECOND-HAND UNIFORMS

Wellard Primary School greatly appreciates receiving second-hand uniforms from families who are leaving the school.  Uniforms can be left at the office.  These donations make it possible for other students to wear a uniform to school.

STUDENT REPORTS

Student reports went home on Monday 14^th December. Parents are advised to print out a copy of their child’s report for future reference. We are asked on a regular basis for copies of reports because parents are unable to print out copies once the next set of reports are generated by the school.

CLASS STRUCTURES 2021

The school is still working on class structures for next year due to the ongoing number of enrolments we are receiving. Class lists will be placed on the office notice board as of Thursday 28^th January. Please note the office does not open for the school year until Monday 25^th January.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Parents are reminded that students finish the school year on Thursday 17^th December.
